I received wonderful service from Medical Health Supply.
When I wanted to come home from the nursing home after rehabilitation, I needed a wheelchair. My wife asked about wheelchairs, and after some discussion with a Medical Health Supply’s employee, we learned that we needed a transport chair. |
I didn’t know the difference between the two items. MHS supplied us with a light weight transport chair that is easy to fold and put in the car.
We really didn’t think about how I was going to get in the front door of my new house because there was a step. MHS suggested a lightweight foldable aluminum ramp. It was very inexpensive, and is great because we can fold the ramp, and it fits into the backseat of the car with my transport chair. We can carry them anywhere.
Now I can visit my daughters and grandchildren in their homes with little effort. All my wife or daughters have to do is to throw the ramp and chair in the back of the car, and I am able to be part of the family wherever we go. Thank you Medical Health Supply.com!

Thank You for Caring...
Years ago, I had back surgery and nursing support at home. Recently, I started to feel arthritis in my spine, and was told that a second surgery would alleviate some of the discomfort caused by the arthritis. |
I was told that if I felt well, I could go home after the surgery. I felt great before the anesthesia wore off and went home feeling that I could handle this alone. I didn’t even bother to tell my family about the procedure because I didn’t want to worry my children.
Later that afternoon, I began to feel a great deal of pain. I called a friend and told her that I had surgery again. She got online and ordered a walker, grab bar, shower seat and a commode without asking me. I was tired and took some of the pain medication that was given me by my doctor, and went to bed.
I am sure glad that everything arrived the next day. She came over and put the walker near my bed, so that I could use it to lift my self up without straining my back. I was so stiff that day that I could hardly move. I used the shower seat for days, and had the grab bar installed permanently in my Jacuzzi. I later purchased a suction grab bar to use on the shower door.
I no longer need the walker or commode, but I will save them incase I need them again in the future. The grab bars are invaluable. I use the Jacuzzi all the time now because it is just easier to get into and out of now.
